This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Gulf County Florida for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.
With Summer vacation 2016 in the books, I know a lot of families that are already thinking about where they want to go next year, or even pondering if they have enough time to squeeze in a small trip during the “off” season to see a gorgeous beach.
Gulf County Florida has a lot to offer, their prime season lasts far beyond Summer, all the way from August through March. A trip to Gulf County is NEVER the same twice because adventures are nature based, from the kayaking to all types of fishing, hiking, bird watching, snorkeling, diving, paddleboarding, ecotouring, and boating are all within 15 minutes away no matter where you are in the area!
They keep their beaches natural, allowing nature to do the landscaping and plants to flourish and grow, giving it a gorgeous feel all through the county!
And it’s not just sitting-on-the-beach time either, they offer many different adventure options for families to experience new things together, while also staying true to their motto “play more plan less”. I have the tendency to over-plan and overthink and I love that they remind me to stay calm and just enjoy the trip!
Look through their Adventure Guide and find the trip that’s right for you. I love that it allows you the freedom and independence to make your plan on your own time! Gulf County FL really does make life better with more wonder, more surprise and fresh adventure!
They offer kayaking and paddle boarding, which my family would love! My husband and I have kayaked together, but I’ve never tried paddle boarding. I have a friend who raves about how fun it is though, so this might be one we have to hit in Gulf County!
There are also eco-adventures with bio experts where you can learn about the different wildlife and eco-systems around Gulf County. It can be a great opportunity to explore nature and learn fascinating information about what you are seeing with your kids.
You can even schedule a beach ride. You and your family can hit the sand on horseback and have fun seeing all the beauty Gulf County has to offer in such a memorable way! There are even moonlight couples rides you can schedule if you happen to go with grandma and grandpa who might be willing to take the kids for a night.
Gulf County is so confident in the amazing things they have to offer, they’re offering a fun (and easy) sweepstakes to my readers! All you have to do is check out their Adventure Guide and tell me in the comments what adventure you’d like to go on with your family most of all! Then, I’ll collect all the entries and use a random number generator to choose the winner, who will get a $50 AMEX gift card. Easy-peasy!

I would totally take my family on a horseback ride on the beach! I did this with my family when I was a kid and had no idea how cool we actually were. I’d LOVE to do it again!

Thanks for sharing the information about this vacation spot. I was surprised by the offer of an Eco-adventure with a specialist. My oldest studies about ecosystems a little last year in school and is reviewing them this year. I would love to go on an Eco-adventure with my family.
Ahh it all looks so beautiful! My family would go straight for the paddle boarding! Hope to visit Gulf County some day, thanks for sharing about it.
I could definitely handle the beach-a-day adventure. Or off the beaten path. Both look ah-ma-zing! <3
The Bay at St Joseph Peninsula State Park looks like a great place to visit: it has camping, fishing, you can picnic, there is something for everyone to enjoy there.
